This is an example of an overarching process for your therapy, including activities, goals and desired outcomes.
This process usually involves initially meeting with me once a week or fortnight in South Golden Beach or online. After each session, I send you an e-mail outlining: your goals and progress, your support toolkit of strategies I am teaching you and some tasks we have set together for you to work on in between sessions.
I journey alongside you, working collaboratively with you. I have a warm, empathetic, uplifting, strengths-based and encouraging approach. I create an inviting and safe environment for you to share your story. I attentively listening to you and am committed to meeting your individual needs, selecting the right approach and strategies from my vast toolkit to help you achieve your desired outcomes from therapy and goals in life.
For women who might be newly identifying as neurodivergent or have a mental health condition, such as a specific type of anxiety, I am able to do screening and suggest referral for formal diagnosis where appropriate. I can support you with your mental health whilst this process takes place and after diagnosis.

My approach is integrated to provide a holistic approach, individualised for your needs. I draw upon client-centred counselling, psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Gestalt/Experiential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), solutions-focussed approaches, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line Therapy and life coaching.

Interventions / therapeutic activities can include:
- talk therapy: sharing your story in a safe and confidential space
- narrative, visual time lines
- expressive art: drawing, painting, sculpting, movement, sound
- visualisation
- walking sessions at the beach
- exploration and expression of emotion
- somatic therapy – tuning into how your body feels
- reframing of thoughts/beliefs
- calming/relaxation techniques
- phobia desensitisation
- educational books and videos
- assistance with the implementation of new strategies
- goal setting

I am neurodiversity-affirming and therefore, I:
- value and respect the different ways autistic and neurodivergent clients may process, feel, play, communicate and respond
- allow clients to be themselves and do not try to change them to meet a neurotypical standard
- respect my clients’ autonomy and collaborate with my clients, involving them in the decision-making process regarding their therapy

I specialise in helping autistic and neurodivergent people, and their families, with therapy to:
- increase self-esteem, confidence and self-advocacy
- increase understanding of autism
- develop a strong sense of self
- reach one’s potential
- improve family relationships
- adjust to life transitions, changes to routine or schedule, new experiences or people, or a loss
- assist with social navigation
- handle bullying
- improve emotion identification and regulation
- decrease anxiety, phobias and depression
- learn effective relaxation techniques
- increase joy and contentment in life!

From Stuck to Inspired in 90 Days!
An example of what’s possible…
After seeing incredible transformations take place in a number of my clients, I describe this work as, “From Stuck to Inspired in 90 days!” These women came to me experiencing depression, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, fatigue, difficulty sleeping and thoughts of self-harm. They really wanted more direction and purpose in life, but they didn’t know how to improve their low self-esteem, they lacked confidence and they felt stuck.

These women worked with me for around 3 months and transformed to once again feel joy, have hope about their future and experience new momentum, confidently taking steps toward achieving their goals, such as living a fulfilling life with purpose, loving others and contributing to their community.
A client who went through this transformation 6 months ago, reached out to share that she is “thriving and succeeding in life”. She is still using the tools I taught her and has continued her journey to deepen her love and appreciation of herself, improve her relationships and reach her potential in a new career.

“Tracie listened to me and that was a game changer. Feeling heard enabled me to be vulnerable and honest about how I was feeling and what I was experiencing. From this I noticed a huge shift in my internal voice towards myself and others. I noticed that I instantly spoke to how I was feeling, through writing it down or talking it out, and instead of sitting in a dark hole, I began to move through everything.
The physical environment was calming and beautiful to be in, which helped me to drop into an open and honest space.
I would describe Tracie’s counselling and life coaching as safe, inspiring and extremely progressive. In comparison to other therapists, I felt a change almost instantly and Tracie’s intentions were truly for my benefit.”

“After seeing Tracie my daughter has found a new confidence within herself, I would say brought out the confidence from within her. She is much happier, hasn’t missed any school due to anxiety, has found her common ground and has the tools to deal with situations. She is a much happier girl.
Tracie is marvellous. She has always followed up with myself and my daughter from day one and onwards and checks in on how things are progressing and letting us know that if we need her she is there for us.
A big THANK YOU Tracie. I have a happy girl and it is so nice to see.”

“I wanted to become more confident in my own body, I wanted to be able to wear whatever or do whatever without caring about what others thought.
You helped me release any unwanted emotions about myself and others that I wanted to get rid of. I have become more confident, I’m a lot happier and relaxed and I’m just extremely happy with myself and my life, and you have helped me get to this point.
If I needed to book in for more sessions for any reason in the future, I would because the experience has helped me a lot and I’m very grateful for everything that you have done for me.”
