NDIS Hourly Fee Structure$150

We welcome NDIS participants who are:

                • Self-managed, or
                • Plan-managed

Sessions are billed at the standard rate of $150 per hour. To accommodate the rigorous clinical reporting and indirect service requirements under the NDIS, a standard session is structured as 1.5 hours of total clinical time (1.0 hour direct + 0.5 hours indirect care), totalling $225.00 per session.

We provide specialised clinical counselling and psychotherapy for older Australians accessing support through the Australian Government’s Support at Home program.

Counselling and psychotherapy are included within the Allied health and other therapeutic services category of the Support at Home Service List. Our service is delivered by a counsellor/psychotherapist and is designed to support older adults experiencing grief and loss, emotional distress, difficult family relationships, life transitions, loneliness, adjustment to ageing, and other challenges affecting their emotional wellbeing and independence.

Our Support at Home fees are structured as all-inclusive service prices, incorporating both direct therapeutic care and associated clinical work required to safely and appropriately deliver the service, including clinical documentation, case conceptualisation and care planning.

Standard Support at Home Session — $225
60 minutes of direct counselling, inclusive of associated clinical documentation, case conceptualisation and care planning.

Extended Support at Home Session — $300
90 minutes of direct counselling, inclusive of associated clinical documentation, case conceptualisation and care planning.

Support at Home clinical services are fully government funded, meaning there is generally no participant contribution for an approved clinical counselling service. Access is subject to the service being included in the participant’s Support at Home plan and sufficient funding being available.

Please confirm your counselling allocation with your Support at Home provider or Care Partner prior to booking.

At Inspire Clinical Counselling and Coaching, I provide counselling through EAP provider, Converge International, across the Byron Bay, Tweed and Gold Coast regions, as well as online across Australia. Sessions are initially arranged through the EAP provider.

🌿 Important Notice Regarding Session Time

To maintain the highest clinical standards, your allocated session fee covers the full spectrum of professional care required for your treatment.

How your session time is calculated:

Private Clients: Your individual hourly fee applies strictly to your scheduled appointment time. Standard documentation and brief administration are accounted for within this hour.

NDIS & Support at Home Participants: Due to advanced case management, portal compliance, and mandatory government reporting, fees are securely structured as Comprehensive Care Packages. These structures clearly account for both your direct face-to-face interaction and essential non-face-to-face clinical overheads.

All indirect care includes: Initial intake, clinical onboarding, and platform registration. Contemporaneous clinical note-taking and case conceptualisation. Essential care coordination and professional follow-up communication (such as resource sharing and emails).

If you’re unsure which funding option applies to you, you’re welcome to reach out and we can guide you through the next steps.
